The 2009 Latino Inaugural Gala
Special Invitation

You are invited to the Latino Inaugural Gala co-hosted by several national Latino organizations to commemorate the historic swearing-in of the Honorable Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States and the record Latino voter turnout in November.

Latino elected officials, community leaders and well known, award-winning Latino entertainers and celebrities will join the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI), the Democratic National Committee Hispanic Caucus, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and Voto Latino, among many others, in celebrating this momentous occasion.

Latino voices were heard in unprecedented numbers in the 2008 presidential election. The Latino community will come together again in a display of unity on Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Washington’s historic Union Station for the Latino Inaugural Gala from 7:30 pm to 12:00 am EST – “Renewing America’s Promise, Celebrando el Cambio”.
