Vme TV will be broadcasting an interview with Lech Walesa, the renowned human rights and labor union activist and former president of Poland, on Saturday, June 20th at 9 p.m. Walesa will discuss topics ranging from characteristics of leaders, the flaws in communism, and the components of democracy.

“Introducing Vme TV viewers to thought leaders and game-changers like Lech Walesa fulfills our network’s mission of providing perspective about current events and world-related topics that impact our Latino community,” said Vme TV’s vice-president of marketing Ralph Parkman.

This interview is just one part of a year-long series of interviews with politicians and other notable figures, including actress Rita Moreno and former director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) John Morton.

As the first and only Spanish-language public television network, Vme TV is proud to bring prominent leaders and thinkers into the homes of more than 70 million viewers. Since 2007, Vme programs have sought to both entertain and educate viewers.
