“Understanding The Immigration Reform Debate” Google Hangout Today

and Latino Giant have joined together to coordinate the Latino Educational Google Hangout, titled “Understanding The Immigration Reform Debate,” today Wednesday, April 17th at 8:00pm EST.

The Latino Educational Google Hangout series, the next installment of the of New Latino Voices video conferences that initiated in 2012, aims to provide Latinos with a platform to express their voices, opinions and commentaries on local and national issues.

The webinar will feature several well-known panelists, including Pilar Marrero from La Opinión, Kristian Ramos from the New Democrat Network, Dulce Matuz from the Arizona Dream Act Coalition, and Guillermo Cantor from the American Immigration Council.

The panelists will explain important elements of the legislation and answer questions relating to family reunification, visas for high-skill and low-skill workers, the DREAM Act, border security, and how immigration reform will impact jobs and the economy.
